Within an Audiobook there are three main elements. Element no.1 is actor dialogue, the actor must have a calm soothing interesting voice which allows the characters to come to life. Element no.2 is the sound effects, for example when a character is opening a door, would cause a door opening sound effect, the way they would do this would to easily open a door and film it with a microphone, then overlay the audio tracks. Element no.3 is music, music is pre-recorded then added in post and synced up with the rest of the audio.

The sound designer for Wall-e was Ben Burtt, he also was the sound designer for Starwars, he would find equipment what would make interesting sounds, then he would merge them with other tracks. Jimmy Mcdonald also help on the Wall-e track. After a progressive amount of time equipment has modernized, to alter people’s voices people would use a Sonivox, now days they use a Vocoder or auto tune to alter the human voice.
