A SLR camera stands for "Single lens reflex". This camera is very similar to a DSLR the only difference is a SLR is not digital, this means that the camera uses film instead of a digital image, this has its negatives and positives, a negative of a SLR is the film costs alot of money, also if the film is exposed to light before the shot the film will be so over exposed.
