Overall this task was the easiest to date, the easiest part was definitely the filming, we filmed in the media suite, this allowed us to use the lights and acoustic foam surrounding. Ever shot we mad was in focus and of great quality, the acting was also very good, both me and Jordan played the actors, both of us put on the appropriate voices. The harder part of this task was the editing, the clips were all smooth and easy to organise but because we made such a great film I also wanted to make a good edit, after a long time I was able to add fades, blurs and echoes to express the dizziness of the joker, once the video was created I was more than happy with the outcome. We also never broke the 180-degree rule, we stayed on the right side of the line of action, this didn’t cause any distraction for the viewers.

The teamwork was great, we had Alan on sound speed, Paddy behind the camera and me and Jordan as the actors, everything was great, we all were happy with our roles and used them efficiently. During the film Paddy would give us queues for when to speak, this helped because he helped with the audio making sure everything was in sync and good.

To improve next time, we should make more shots of the same sequence because some shots were hard to edit frame by frame such as the shot were I smacked Jordan’s head into the table, that was another reason why I added the blur and echo because the viewer wouldn’t be able to see the movement delay.

Overall I’m very impressed with what the group were able to create, let alone we only had around an hour to record the shots. The lights really helped to cause a dark dingy asylum feel to the situation, also audio helped because when I smacked Jordan’s head into the table I was then able to queue a distorted slow paced bit of audio.
